Domain Working Groups
A Domain Working Group (DWG) consists of members of the Technical Committee (TC) and invited guests who consider interoperability requirements and issues, implementation specifications, and present on technology areas relevant to solving interoperability challenges. There are currently 40 DWGs.

A Standards Working Group (SWG) is composed of members of the Technical Committee (TC) and invited guests, who together develop standards or revise existing ones. There are currently 67 SWGs.
Engaging globally
Regional Forums
Regional Forums advance OGC topics in specific regions of the world. OGC encourages the creation of regional forums to address regional needs and circumstances. A forum can cover international, national, or sub-national interests and one region may be part of multiple Regional Forums. There are currently 13 regional forums: Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Canada, China, Europe, France, ILAF (Iberian and Latin-American Forum), India, Korea, Middle East and North Africa, Nordic, North America and UK & Ireland.
